At Trinity Healthcare Services, we believe that strong communities are built on compassionate care - and that care starts with people. That's why we're proud to announce the expansion of our tuition-free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, an initiative designed to open doors, create careers, and strengthen the healthcare workforce right here in Southern West Virginia.
Investing in Our Communities
The demand for skilled, compassionate caregivers continues to grow, especially in long-term care. CNAs are the backbone of our facilities—providing hands-on care, building relationships with residents, and making a meaningful difference every single day.
By offering tuition-free CNA training, Trinity is removing one of the biggest barriers to entry into healthcare: cost. This program is more than just education—it’s an opportunity for individuals in our communities to step into a stable, rewarding career with purpose.
Williamson Program Already Underway
We’re excited to share that our Williamson location has already launched its CNA class, with students actively engaged in training and preparing to enter the workforce. The early momentum and enthusiasm from this group have been incredibly encouraging.
This program is setting the tone for what we expect to be a transformative initiative—one that not only supports our facilities but also empowers individuals across the region.

Logan Program Launching August 3rd
Logan is preparing for its program launch, scheduled to begin August 3rd in the newly renovated Betty Barker Center at Trinity Healthcare of Logan.
To support this initiative, we’ve made a significant investment in our training environment by renovating a dedicated classroom space, creating a welcoming and professional setting for our future CNAs to learn and grow.
The program will be led by our experienced clinical leadership team, including Director of Nursing Sara Gibson and Nursing Education Instructor Donna Lester, ensuring students receive high-quality, hands-on instruction aligned with both state and federal standards.
Join Us for Our Open House – July 9th
Before classes begin at Logan, we’re inviting the community to come see what the program is all about.

More Than Training—A Career Pathway
Graduates of our CNA program will leave with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in long-term care and beyond. For many, this is just the beginning—opening doors to future advancement in nursing and healthcare leadership.
At Trinity, we’re not just filling positions—we’re building a pipeline of caregivers who are committed to excellence, compassion, and community.
A Commitment to the Future
This initiative reflects our broader mission: to invest in people, elevate care, and strengthen the communities we serve. By offering free CNA training in both Williamson and Logan, we’re taking a proactive step toward addressing workforce challenges while creating meaningful opportunities for local residents.
We look forward to welcoming our first Logan class this August—and to continuing this journey of growth, opportunity, and care together.
